Responsibility by doing – Sustainability by Kässbohrer Industrial Group

Because our special vehicles are always about what is technically possible and about delivering maximum product value compared to commodity solutions, sustainability is, in a way, part of our engineering DNA. Whether it is about achieving the highest possible loading factor with a Kässbohrer car transporter or maximizing filling capacity in a ROHR airfield vehicle, the principle is always the same: maximum service life and therefore the lowest possible use of resources.

Alongside our durable products, we want to take sustainability and the circular economy much further and turn them into a core part of our overall corporate DNA. This is backed by a strong and unconditional commitment from our owner families, our management team, our employees and our partners on both the supplier and customer sides.

Developing the Kässbohrer Industrial Group into the most sustainable manufacturer of special commercial vehicles means thinking long term, challenging the entire organization and implementing dedicated programs at every level.

This does not happen overnight and it cannot simply be written into a brochure. What is possible are concrete steps and transparent communication about where we stand and what we are tackling. One key element and a current example on this journey are explained by Stefan Meixner and Alexander Kraft in the video on the battery electric car transporter and the increasingly tangible goal of emission free vehicle logistics.
